About
the Choirs
Founded in 1998,
the Birmingham Children's Choir is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that
has been nurturing the love of music in children in our community for over
10 years. If your child loves to sing, then we encourage you to consider one
of our three choir programs, described below.
The aim of the program is to bring children of the Birmingham area together to learn about
choral music, make new friends with similar interests, and perform in the Birmingham area
and across the region. This experience in the arts will enhance the
members' lives now and encourage them to continue to be involved with the arts as adult
performers and appreciators. It is hoped that through exposure to the Birmingham
Children's Choir program, more children will choose to participate in arts programs.
